Fort Worth, TX Wedding Photographer: My First Catholic Wedding with Tony and Nanci

Hello everyone! I am especially excited today for two reasons: The first being that I am back in the wedding season (with my first wedding since September 2011), and secondly with my first Catholic ceremony. However, I must admit that I was very nervous coming into this with the church having strict guidelines and not the best lighting inside, but with prayers and much practice, as well as reasearch I think it went pretty well. Thankfully, I brought enough equipment with me to be able to get good shots inside the church without a flash.

The ceremony was not as long as I expected it to be. I've actually witnessed (as a guest) longer ceremonies. With about an hour inside the church of managing to go around the back and making sure not to go past the pews, I felt limited, but somehow I felt good knowing that I had someone else help me today. Thanks to Emily Hart (soon to be Davis) of Emily Davis Photography, I believe we were able to get good wedding coverage.

Overall, the wedding was a success, with a nice little reception, it was very fun. I was fortunate enough to meet other vendors, and take advantage of a little networking to boost my exposure.

Anyway, I am very excited to present to you newlyweds, Tony and Nanci Perez.

Join me next week for my Bridal session at White Rock Lake. Until then!
