Fort Worth, TX Newborn Photographer: Twins Devin and Kaydin

Some of you may have known for a while that I have gotten into child and baby photography since my youngest daughter was born four months ago. It was just unfortunate that I did not start to pick up my camera until she was 6 weeks old. I deeply regret that, especially now that I can't get that time back to be able to capture those precious moments. I'm just glad that I was able to get some shots while she was 6 weeks and not let any more time pass.

I honestly did not know what to do with her. I didn't realize that there were so many creative ways to take photos of a newborn, and that this would have been the best time to do it. So since then, I had made it my mission to learn Newborn photography. I've been trying to find someone that would let me do this, and although I was originally set to have my first newborn session with a co-worker of mine in April, I had a wonderful opportunity to have a session earlier with TWINS this weekend!!! Yes, thanks to my friend Michelle Nolte of MJNolte Photography, she allowed me to assist in this session. It took us 4 hours to setup and take the pictures, but it was the best 4 hours I've invested learning. She is such a great source of information, and I am really grateful! It was also fun having the chance to care for twins for those 4 hours, but of course, I don't get to take them home, that's why I say that too :-)

Anyway, here are photos of Devin and Kaydin at a week old. And as usual, click on the images to enlarge.

Catch my next post about my recent engagement session with Renee and Tom tomorrow!
